Artist Bio

From NYC to the wilds of the Essex countryside, and now residing in London, the desire to create art has always been a huge influence in my life no matter where I've lived.

My aim is to bring to life the faces that I draw, whether they be fictional or real.

I want to capture the beauty and emotion of the human face in a medium where I can express myself fully and to generate analysis and discussions amonst people, with each portrait that I create.

I am a Traditional Artist, specialising in Charcoal, Graphite and Colour pencil artwork.

Self taught with no formal training, I have been honing my skills over the past 10 years, concentrating on portraiture.

My work features Game & Movie characters, Film stars & Musicians, as well as memorial & family portraits.

I have worked with the games company Ubisoft to promote their Assassin's Creed franchise.

I exhibited my first Portrait collection at Brick Lane Gallery, January 2022.

I have contributed to the Brooklyn Art Library's Sketchbook Project in NYC for 2020/21.

I have created a 32K Instagram audience over the past 3 years.

The Hyperspace Dimension

For the second episode of The Hyperspace Dimension podcast, longtime Star Wars fan, since the original release of the original trilogy, and portrait artist Lisa Zaman, joins host Gargudon for an in depth look at “The Fandom Menace” and toxicity in the Star Wars fandom. Focusing on everything from the toxic subculture throughout the years, from the release of the prequel trilogy up till today’s sequels, its overall impact on the larger fandom, to the toxicity going forward as Star Wars expands with more in between.

Brick Lane Gallery

From the 5th-16th January 2022, I had the pleasure to take part in my first gallery exhibition in London.

The collection, entitled "Hand Over Your Emotions" comprised of 14 portraits.

I wanted these pieces to allow others to be inspired and inquisitive as the nature of human emotions. Obscured faces create an air of mystery and wonder as to whom the individual is. The Placement of the hands creates a talking point of what emotion is concealed underneath them.
