Just because I've been drawing for over 20 years doesn't mean I know it all. In fact I'd be the first to admit I've picked up some really nasty habits whilst drawing.
2019 was a good time to review some of my first works and see what I was uphappy with.
Hair... I was terrible at hair. I would spend so much time with the feature, that when it got to doing the lucious locks I'd pretty much given up and gone home.
I think this where some formal training would have come in handy. But alas, I cannot mourn what I havent got, and so with a few online tutorials and advice from other artists I began to unlearn those ways and start over with new techniques. So far, I must admit, I'm please with the results. That's not to say its all fixed. I still have a way to go. But I've got an abundance of energy and a willingness to learn.
